LawHax Terms of Service

Welcome to LawHax, an online platform that provides AI-assisted tools to help self-represented individuals prepare legal documents. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using LawHax ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding contracts to use LawHax. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. No Legal Advice

LawHax is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our platform provides tools and templates to help users generate documents and navigate legal processes. Information provided by LawHax is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created through your use of LawHax.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of the information you provide
  • Reviewing and understanding any document generated before using it
  • Filing any documents with the appropriate court or authority
  • Complying with all applicable laws and deadlines

4. Account and Access

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Fees and Payment

Some features of LawHax may be free, while others require payment. If you purchase a paid service, you agree to pay the applicable fees. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Data Use and AI Training

By using LawHax, you agree that any data or documents you input, upload, or generate through the platform may be used in anonymized form to improve our services, including training and refining our AI tools. We do not sell your personal information and will only share data under the conditions described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on LawHax, including but not limited to text, software, graphics, and logos, are the property of LawHax or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use LawHax for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload false, misleading, or harmful information
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code from the platform

9. Disclaimers

LawHax is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You understand and agree that any legal decisions or filings you make using LawHax are at your own risk.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAWHAX AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM
  • ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT

11. INDEMNIFICATION

YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS LAWHAX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, OBLIGATIONS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, DEBT, OR EXPENSES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) ARISING FROM:

  • YOUR USE OF AND ACCESS TO THE PLATFORM
  • YOUR VIOLATION OF ANY TERM OF THESE TERMS
  • YOUR VIOLATION OF ANY THIRD-PARTY RIGHT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY COPYRIGHT, PROPERTY, OR PRIVACY RIGHT
  • ANY CLAIM THAT YOUR CONTENT CAUSED DAMAGE TO A THIRD PARTY

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved as outlined in the arbitration provision below.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of LawHax (collectively, "Disputes") shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with the SIAC Arbitration Rules in force at the time of the dispute.

a. Arbitration Venue and Language

The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator, unless otherwise agreed.

b. Informal Resolution

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first attempt to resolve any Dispute informally by contacting us at hello@due.pro. We will attempt to resolve the Dispute within 30 days of receiving your written notice.

C. CLASS ACTION WAIVER

YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE WITH US ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR SHALL NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OR PRESIDE OVER ANY CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, OR MULTI-PARTY PROCEEDING.

d. Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, both you and LawHax retain the right to:

  • Seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property rights violations or misuse of confidential information;
  • Bring an individual action in a small claims court if the matter qualifies.

e. Governing Arbitration Law

This arbitration provision shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the rules of SIAC.
